The Bedford Blues and BBQ Festival offers a unique experience for all the senses!

Craftsmanship is the theme today. Farmers relied on many crafts people to help keep their farms running. Visit to experience many peoples' crafts and trades.
Giants of the Jurassic exhibit, featuring more than 20 roaring, animatronic dinosaurs, plus the world-renowned, interactive theater puppet experience of Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo Live. Zoogoers can explore raised “dig box” and fossil boxes, operate a robotic Dimetrodon, put together a large wooden dinosaur skeleton, and say “cheese” with a very photogenic Tyrannosaurus rex
Join us for our End of Summer Swim party. Swim across Texas & join in the cannonball contest and water games! This 168,000-gallon saltwater pool sports two water slides, diving board and water volleyball.
Bring the family out to enjoy a great train robbery on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad on Labor Day. Train departs at 1:00pm from the Grapevine Cotton Belt Train Depot and returns at 6:00pm. Or hop aboard the Trinity River Run, departing the Fort Worth Stockyards Station at 3:15pm, returning to the Stockyards at 4:15pm.

Mon Sept 7 @ 10am - 2pm - Activities will bring the Texas Storybook Flower Village to life, including a petting zoo, live music and a red, white and blue stroller parade with special prizes awarded.
Activities and games are spread throughout the day to encourage participation from patrons of all ages and abilities. Activities are FREE with paid admission.
Meet & Greet the Animals, Safari Tram, Kids Bucket Train Ride & More! The last Safari Tram leaves at 4pm, so no one will be admitted to the ranch after 4pm. We recommend arriving no later than 2pm to ensure you are able to see all the animals at the front of the ranch and are able to ride the Safari Tram.
The museum is typically closed on Mondays; however, on this Monday, the museum will be open from 9am - 5pm. Guests will not be granted entry after 4 p.m.

Summer of Epic Forces unite!
Gear up, train up and put your powers to the test! Superheroes will rise during the Summer of Epic Adventure: Forces Unite. Dr. Boredom has stolen all superheroes and villains’ powers, and it’s up to you to help forces unite, beat Boredom and all that stands against summer fun! Don’t miss action-packed activities, epic showdown performances, character appearances and extraordinary events!
Free admission from 10am to 5pm. Kids art activities, scavenger hunt, family tours, story time and more until 2pm.
