Canine Commons Dog Park

Located in the parking lot north of PetSmart, Canine Commons Dog Park is a tree-shaded haven for dogs of all shapes and sizes. The park features water fountains for dogs and humans, benches and tables, and plenty of bag stations available for your use.
If your pooch weighs less than 20 pounds, Canine Kids at Canine Commons was created especially for your petite pup! Now, small dogs have a place of their own, where they can socialize without feeling overwhelmed by larger dogs. Owners are welcome to bring their small dog into the large dog park, but they do so at their own risk.

The dog park is a double-gated, fenced, 2-acre area along Bluebonnet Trail, near its intersection with Chisholm Trail in central Plano. The park has benches, picnic tables,water stations for humans and animals, and waste pickup/disposal stations.

The six acre dog park features two areas for dogs and owners. One acre is dedicated to small breeds and five acres are reserved for larger breeds. Covered seating areas are provided in both sections so that owners may comfortably keep track of their animals. Near the entrances are transition areas to provide leashing/unleashing, waste disposal, wash stations and drinking & watering fountains. Potential programs to be developed could include dog obedience classes and agility training courses.

A rich history surrounds Main Street Garden -- a public park encompassing a full city block bordered by Main, St. Paul, Commerce and Harwood streets. Redding Trail Dog Park is a small park divided into two sections, one for large dogs and one for small ones. Each section has drinking fountains for the dogs and their people, as well as benches and double-gated entries. The dog park is at the far east end of Redding Trail, a beautifully landscaped trail running along the Oncor utility easement.

Ages:All children under the age of 12 must be under strict supervision and accompanied by an adult.

Tipps Canine Hollow provides a safe environment for pet owners to unleash their dogs and let them exercise and socialize freely without disrupting the activities of others. The park includes a 2-acre fenced area for large dogs and 1-acre fenced area for small dogs. The park also offers water stations, dog waste stations, plenty of open space to run, and shady areas for relaxing.

The magnificent 7 acre park is the first City of Dallas specifically designed dog park. The park features small and large dog play areas, a 1/4 mile walking trail, a deck overlooking White Rock Creek, both people and doggie drinking fountains and much more. The grounds are landscaped with native and hardy plantings and stone decking and seating.
