The Child Safe Network's mission is to protect our nations most valuable asset, our children!  Our organization is dedicated to educating and preventing missing, and abducted children.

Due to the passing of Megan's Law, convicted sex offenders must register with local police in the communities in which they live. The Child Safe Network provides parents and guardians with the ability to search these databases of convicted sex offenders.

Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian housing organization.   We welcome all people to join us as we build simple, decent, affordable houses in partnership with those who lack adequate shelter.

Started in 1993 as McKinney Habitat for Humanity, an affiliate of Habitat International. In 2002, scope expanded to include North Collin County, so name changed to North Collin County Habitat for Humanity, Inc. Currently have built homes in McKinney, Celina and Melissa.

How to qualify:
1. Must have Housing need, be willing to partner with Habitat, and ability to pay mortgage.
2. Agree to work sweat equity hours of 300 hours per adult
3. Income range between 30 – 60 % median income, Collin County median income is $70,835
4. A family must make between $21,250 - $42,500 annually for a family of four

PTA membership is as diverse as Texas is in cultures, education levels and parenting skills. By joining a PTA,a member automatically becomes part of the largest child-advocacy organization in the state — over 650,000 strong across Texas.

The Volunteer McKinney Center’s mission is to enhance the spirit of citizen’s responsibility and service in McKinney by facilitating volunteerism. Volunteers can improve the quality of life in our community by engaging in volunteer opportunities that are both challenging and satisfying. This can be achieved as we partner with the city, service organizations, non-profit agencies, churches, and businesses in our community to determine the needs that we face and share them with the citizens that can be part of the solution.
