Summer camp at the Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center is bounding into its second year with more weeks offered and new programs. Come join us for a week of fun and educational adventures in our 205 acre outdoor classroom located just 16 miles southwest of downtown Dallas.  Our day-camp curriculums focus on hands-on exploration, play and experiential learning.  Depending on the weekly theme, campers may become zoologists, artists, or field biologists all while learning about teamwork and sustainability.

The Allen Police Department offers students the opportunity to experience law enforcement first-hand as part of an annual Junior Police Academy summer camp program. Students will learn the basic functions of a working police department. Students will have the opportunity to practice what they learn in practical exercises.

Each week long session includes age-appropriate activities and experiments for each grade, along with exciting hands-on projects and visits to our cooler-than-cool exhibit halls. Summer Discovery Camp combines hands-on exploration and activity with stimulating scientific concepts to keep young minds sharp over summer vacation.
