Network of Enterprising Women (NEW)

Description:  NEW is a volunteer support networking group of multi-faceted women who are mothers and independent businesswomen. NEW is dedicated to supporting the business endeavors of women who are also Mothers primarily through networking, idea exchange, cross promotion and co-marketing opportunities. The Allen Early Childhood PTA is a network of families dedicated to promoting the welfare of children from birth to age 5.  We offer educational and fun monthly meetings, weekly field trips, playgroups, a baby sitting co-op and community service projects.

 

Allen/McKinney Area Mothers of Multiples

Meeting Date:Third Thursday of the Month

We are a non-profit support group whose activities are directed toward the unique needs of mothers of twins, triplets, and higher order multiples. Our purpose is to share the knowledge and understanding of multiples by exchanging information and mutual support between mothers, medical staff, educators and others, and to gain friendship with mothers who understand multiple issues. The club encourages positive parenting of multiples through monthly meetings with speakers or panels and through a monthly newsletter. The club also sponsors events monthly and throughout the year for the Moms, the Moms and children, and for the entire family.

A playgroup for moms and babies! Our outings range from mall excursions to play areas to lunches for the moms. Once a month, we try to do a Moms' Night Out. Please contact me for more information. We are always open to new members!

 

At Home Dads of Greater Dallas


 A group dedicated to all of the families in the Dallas area stepping out on the edge of parenting. From Dallas to Frisco; from Rowlett to Carrolton, and everywhere in between. The At Home Dads of Greater Dallas has 4- 5 different playgroups a week. They are set to accommodate almost every possible nap or preschool schedule. Each day has an assigned coordinator responsible for hosting the play group in their home or at another location. Locations have included zoos, parks, restaurant playlands, homes, backyards, and malls. You can attend one or all of the play groups. All of the dads and their children are invited to participate.

The Collin County Early Childhood PTA is a non-profit group offering informative parenting programs, playgroups, field trips for moms and kids, as well as community service projects that enrich our community.

Collin County Homeschool Playgroup


Playgroup for homeschoolers in the northern suburbs of Dallas. The majority of our members are in Plano, Wylie, Frisco, and Richardson. All are welcome regardless of homeschooling style, religion, etc. We offer weekly park days, a Mother's Night Out, member-organized field trips, and online support on topics including homeschooling, parenting, and life in general. The main goal of our group is getting to know other homeschoolers in the area, having fun, and making friends.

North Dallas Mothers of Twins Club

Practical Parent Education is a non-profit organization based in Plano, Texas dedicated to helping parents do their job better. Parent education classes are offered during the school year in schools, churches, and businesses throughout Collin County. Please visit our website for specific dates, times and locations. Please come by our . Annual membership fees ($10 book privileges; $15 includes toy privileges) give patrons access to over 3000 books, audio cassettes and videos available for check-out. Developmental toys, for children ranging in age from infancy to early elementary school, are also available.
